See the light

... is more than just a phrase about what the eye sees.
It is​ too easy to get lost in the darkness and to see the bad in the world, so when I take out my camera, I focus on the light. It is the soft light of a bar sign that makes the skin shimmer or the clear cut morning light that catches in an exhale - but it is also smiles, hugs, a cuddle, a band that is playing their hearts out. Light. 

 

It is what I want to capture.​
